KotOR 2: M4-78 (the Droid Planet) M4-78 was originally created for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, but was cut from the game due to time constraints. It's great. DStoney must have worked really hard on it, and we're lucky he's made it and shared it with us, no doubt. But that does not change the fact that it feels quite tedious in places, and really, the story line doesn't fit super-well with the game as it is. The amount of back tracking required was a bit rediculous, and without a reasonable number of journal entries, I ended up stuck and frustrated more than once. Also, in some of the neatest scenes in this mod, mainly when Sion attacks the Exile, the view is MUCH too far away. It would have been nice to see it closer up. Also, same thing with the scene involving the crew aboard the Ebon Hawk. I had fun exploring all the new and restored content, but at the end of the day, I WON'T be making it a part of my normal gameplay. You've got to be careful if you make a mod mandatory to finishing the main missions. I've tried to capture the best parts of the mod for this vid. KOTOR (DS) 123 - Saul's Last Words In the Bridge, we face Admiral Saul Karath and his army. As Saul collapses, I tell Carth to make him suffer (DS points). Under his dying breath, Saul whispers something to Carth, which obviously shocked him. Carth confronts Bastila if she & the Jedi Council knew the truth. Bastila promises us that she'll explain everything once we get to the Ebon Hawk. For now, I'll keep going. After picking up 'Saul's Sith Assassin Pistol', I use the console to open the gates in the Hangar. As we arrive at the Hangar, Canderous informs me that they took care of the guards, and while I'm talking to him, Bastila goes off on her own & takes care of Troopers (!) - I think I can count on both of them! In the Control Room, we clear the last set of Heavy Troopers & Dark Jedi on the ship... I won't go into details, but we had this incredible design for a planet of droids. We actually did the first pass on art and built the character models for the location. But we had to look at the schedule and make a big cut after E3. We cut the entire planet. At the time, we were afraid it would make the game too short - but fortunately, there is so much other content, that wasn't the case. And we used a lot of elements from that planet elsewhere in the game. Ultimately, I think it made the game better, but it really hurt at the time, especially for the designer who had almost finished the planet, Kevin Saunders." -- Chris Parker, Producer of Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Apparently cut from KOTOR2, planet M4-78 exists as an unfinished set of droid modules. At one point, a group of modders (self-named "Team Bantha") intended to mod this back into the PC version of the game but their efforts have been discontinued. Where to download the Droid Planet Modules: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/n.anderson4/Modules.rar Warning: If you board the Ebon Hawk on the Landing Arm, you'll be stuck. You can't disembark and the Navcom is not functional, so you'll have to reload the save. There are a few remaining areas that are not connected. (For example, going to the Landing Arm to the Central Zone is a one--way trip and so on.) There isn't much to do in these areas anyway. They're mainly curiosities so you aren't missing much... unless you miss the Firaxan sharks and sea beast from Manaan. (The sharks and sea-monsters were most likely placeholders unless the developers were dedicated fans of the movie "Johnny Mnemonic.") Note: I originally had posted the video file without music. KOTOR (LS) 87 - Sunry Murder Trial It's time to decide whether I cover up Sunry's murder for the sake of the Republic or not. You can spend a long time in the court by calling for witnesses, but the XP is affected only by what your argument is: guilty or not guilty. Since this is Jolee's quest, I'll do the right thing - Sunry is guilty. I agree with what Jolee says after the trial - Sunry was a good man once, and it's very sad that he was sentenced to death, but the justice had to be done. This is another NPC quest that makes me emotional - whichever you turn (cover up Sunry's crime or not), it leaves you with sadness, knowing the Republic hero has cheated on his wife & committed murder. After the trial, I add Canderous and transit back to the Ebon Hawk. LEGO KotOR the Movie: Episode 1 The first episode of my new series, I had to keep switching between programs because mine don't work, but I think I found a new one, and it works alright so far, even if it took me only a couple of hours to start and finish the first episode of LEGO kotOR the movie! Anyway, this is what has happened: A Republic Soldier/Scout/Scoundre( I chose the last one!) Wakes up on a Republic ship called the Endar Spire, when he sees a man named Trask Ulgo, who attempts to take him to an escape pod, but unfortunatly runs into DARTH MALAK'S apprentice, Darth Bandon, and he sacrifices himself so that the soldier can escape, where he finds Carth Onasi, a republic Officer, and they escape via the last escape pod. They land on Taris, a planet ruled by the Sith, they can't get off because of the laws, so they go through a series of tasks, save Bastila, a great Jedi, and they steal the ebon hawk from Calo Nord, a Bunty Hunter. They then go to Dantooine, where the Jedi encalve is and the soldier trains until he can become a Padawan learner. He then fights Juhani, to change his rank into an apprentice, and he kills her (it is optional in the game) Then Bastila, the Jedi, and Carth find the first star map on the desert planet of Tatooine. The star maps give clues on where the star forge is, an invincible weapon of destruction, which DARTH MALAK is trying to find... Regarding Characters, the reason that you haven't seen Mission or Zaalbar is because I didn't like their characters, although Zaalbar, and Canderous will be met later in the movie, Zaalbar will be met on Kashyyk, and Canderous will be met on Dantooine, when the Jedi, Bastila and Carth revisit to talk tot he Jedi Masters about the Star Map on Tatooine.
