Lena Andersson: Säg det med en sång (by Benny & Björn; 1972) Lena Andersson - Säg det med en sång (~ in Eng: Say It With A Song) This beautiful and powerful song was written by Benny & Björn (pre-ABBA) for Lena Andersson (like Frida and Agnetha also a popular female vocalist in Sweden in the 1970s) for the Swedish Melodifestivalen (= the National Final for Eurovision Song Contest) in 1972. It was also one of the first times they co-operated with Stikkan Anderson, who wrote the lyrics. I think you can clearly hear the "ABBA-feeling" of this song and it could easily have been sung by either Agnetha or Frida. *:) The song finished 3rd -- among 10 entries - in the National Final (so it was a pretty close one for Benny & Björn this time as well; a year before the entry with "Ring ring" in Melodifestivalen 1973). ELS 501/402 Chase From Lena to Green Bay 4/20/2008 After I got bored watching 1221 and 600 switch Crivitz, I took off back south on US 141 in pursuit of ELS' ex-EMDX/MILW SD40-2 501 and the train bound for Green Bay. I beat it past the US 141 crossing north of Lena (seen in the second part of the ELS 600 chase video) and set up at the Butterfly Lane railroad crossing between there and Lena. The next scene is the train crossing the Oconto River bridge at Stiles, just south of Stiles Junction. Then is the County Highway S crossing in Sobieski, WI. Next are some hastily grabbed digital camera video clips as I barely beat the train to the County Highway B (School Lane) crossing at Suamico. Second-to-last scene is the curve just west of the Lakeview Drive crossing in Howard, on the CN Marinette Subdivision. The video was shot from the Mountain Bay State Trail, itself a former C&NW right-of-way. Finally, the train enters CN's North Green Bay Yard at the N. Military Avenue crossing.
