Lotus 2 II RECS Genesis exclusive song (aka Lotus III Amiga) Lotus III for Amiga was ported to the Genesis / Megadrive and renamed Lotus II R.E.C.S. (it was the second Lotus game seen on the Genny), and while it lost three songs from the original Amiga version (Metal Machine, Space Ninja, and Miami Ice), it picked up a fourth exclusive. To my knowledge, I believe it was a collaboration between Patrick Phelan, Lotus III's composer, and Barry Leitch, the original composer for the Lotus series. I don't know if the song ever had a name, but I wanted to upload it. I love a lot of Leitch and Phelan's older work, and I don't know how many Amiga fans ever got to hear this song. Sonic Genesis Comparison A comparison between the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Mega Drive/Genesis and Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis for the Game Boy Advance. I will say that the GBA port was less than satisfactory upon playing it myself. I HATED it. The very first Sonic game I ever played (probably even the first VIDEO GAME I ever played) was the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Mega Drive and to this day I love it still. Just seeing that game being ruined and disgraced with the GBA port both saddened and angered me to such a high degree. I HAD to get this off my chest and show people what I felt made it so bad. The problems with the game? - It had NO collision detection at all. Sorry that I never mentioned this in the video. Instead of stopping when you bump into something, you just go straight on, which causes problems. - Music is just... so low-tech and awful. - Sound effects are bland and dull. - Bosses become too easy to beat, almost as if they think the people playing it are going to be hopeless at beating bosses. - Sonic is WAY too imposing. It makes it hard to see what's going on around you, because Sonic's so big. - Terrible framerate, slows down an awful lot. - Jumps are twice as high as the original. - THE GLITCHES!! GAH!! There are SO MANY glitches that it makes me want to rip my hair out! People may say that it is a port of the game you can carry around with you, but so is Sonic Mega Drive Collection (Genesis in America) and that's probably even BETTER since it has a lot of other Mega Drive games INCLUDING Sonic 2 as WELL as Sonic 1; it's only on the PSP. The first Sonic game is also on mobile phones as well, and they supposedly were ported well. And what about the old Nomad which plays Mega Drive games portably? Why resort to buying this crap if you want to play Sonic 1 portably, when there are three better options? Plus there are eleven non-portable options, according to a friend of mine, and they all work better than this rubbish. Hey, even EMULATORS for this game works better than this game. People may say that this game is the only one that has Spin Dash; it does NOT. Sonic Jam for the Sega Saturn had a Spin Dash option ON TOP of an option to play it in Easy Mode, Normal Mode or Hard Mode; take it from someone who used to own the game herself. No flames. Sonic The Hedgehog 3 - Tails' Final Boss + Ending Tails' Final Boss and ending from the smash hit SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis game "Sonic The Hedgehog 3" that was developed by Sonic Team in collaboration with Sega Technical Institute, and was published by SEGA. I'm really happy with the way this video came out, hehe. I was able to defeat all of the bosses in the act without taking one hit, (WOOT! ^_^) and I didn't even change into Tails' super form while fighting against Dr.Robotnik's machines of destruction...Wait! What am I saying? Tails' doesn't even have a super form! Well, not in this game anyway. Ok, I'll admit. I kinda cheated...NO! I did cheat against the first boss of the act, but I really wanted to include that little glitch for anyone who hasn't seen it before. Heh! I wouldn't be surprised if everyone already knows about the glitch, however. And if that's the case, fair enough. Anyway, no more wasting time. Enjoy, enjoy, ENJOY!
