Feria de las Flores Medellin Colombia 2001 i filmed this footage in Medellin 2001 and recently edited it. Its a festival celebrating the flowers of Colombia every year in August. Most of the footage you see is the closing event where the silleteros, dancers, musicians, parade down a main street in Medellin. The silleteros are the farmers who grow the flowers and carry the "silletas" on their backs, and some of them are very heavy. The festival is very beautiful and throughout the month of August, Medellin celebrates its flowers with special events, music, dance, and food. (the music you hear is "Feria de las Flores" by Colombian born guitarist/composer/arranger Juan Carlos Quintero) Lo que ven son Imagenes de la Feria de las flores en Medellin, Colombia 2001. Este festival es precioso y se celebra todos los años en el mes de agosto.
