Ninja Gaiden Movie/Game (Part: 13)'No Objections I Presume?' (NOTE: SPOILER...and I altered the ending slightly from how the game has it) The Final part/chapter in Ninja Gaiden: Ryu did the unthinkable and defeated the Vigoor Emperor and all Fiends with his True Dragon Sword. Once he was beaten, DOKU's spell wore off and Ryu has completed his quest: He got revenge on his nemesis, and got back the Dark Dragon Blade....but....is it really over??? Ryu was still trapped in this 'Hell'! Has Ryu failed???... This ends the 1hr and 46mins 'movie' :) This whole thing took me about 3 weeks to do! Dragonball Live Movie Update 11 UPDATE 3 Brian Tyler is composing for the Dragonball movie. His previous scores were constatine and Tokyo Drift. Evidence http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0003911/ UPDATE 2 A reader who claims to have seen a revised issue of "Wizard" magazine, tells us that it will have a "massive exclusive" on the film. Just a moment ago, I received scans (I can't share, and I'd expect you to know why) of Wizard's 'revised' issue. They were alerted about a week beforehand of the date change, and were shipped new images to host. As a teaser poster is not ready, but the prototype in the former issue (Chatwin, his back to us, our first amazing look at his hair and stature) wasn't the first image the studio wanted out. So, it was swapped for two images and a few more interviews with the cast. This is possible since Eriko Tamura did say they shot "posters" on February 28th and 29th. Images The first is Goku, his hair larger than expected and resembling the television show fiercely, watching from the sidelines at an Arena match. Curiously enough (and this was reported awhile back), a hot dog cart is in the background if you look hard enough. The next image is our first clear, sure-to-make-everyone-excited look at Piccolo. He's texture is awesome, and in the picture he's launching someone over him (*not Goku). An amazing publicity shot to release. FYI, this was also from the earlier issue as the studio had no problems showing us the first look at Piccolo. I hope that's true, because it sounds awesome smile.gif. Interviews As for the interviews section, Bulma (Rossum) has now been interviewed. No blue hair — or at least, not that they could tell — she was excited to earn the role based on her audition — can't wait to see the final product — loves her character — hasn't studied the actual cartoon as the screenplay was well rounded and had enough of the mythology to fulfill her enough for the role. Chatwin watched the animated show — loves playing this character — had to bulk up — doesn't want anyone to be disappointed with his performance - thinks Wong's awesome. UPDATE Dragonball Delayed Manga adaptation pushed back to April 2009. There will be no live-action Dragonball movie this year, after 20th Century Fox announced today that it is pushing back the anime-adaptation from 15th August 2008 to 3rd April 2009. The studio gave no official explanation for the reschedule, although it's believed the project was moved to avoid it competing against Fox's own Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the Ben Stiller comedy Tropic Thunder, which are released the same week. The film - an adaptation of the insanely popular manga created by Akira Toriyama - stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum and Chow Yun-Fat. Summary: Matsuken: The interesting thing about DN is everyone inside has a different value and the audience will agree with them at different time and space. Rather than individual popularity, I'd like audience to focus on the message bring out by the movie. (Tatsuya cut across in the middle of Matsuken's interview, LOL) Matsuken: I think the most imp't msg of the original is that when ppl dies, there's "nothing" left. I'm happy to see our movie keeps it. (Matsuken & Tatsuya shake hands...) Tatsuya: (greetings in Cantonese) Though our personalities are quite alike (L & himself), when I's watching Matsuyama-kun, I'm glad he's L. He did a good job and becoming popular in Hong Kong is completely understandable. I think I did better in Movie 2, and it's impossible to be not affected by the original. Since this is my job, I'm ready for any comments. Narration: a different ending... Tatsuya: Personally, I like the movie's ending more. Particularly we've worked on 3 days for the final scene. And I really wish the audience to pay attention to Light's final words, I love that scene very much. Narration: Misa's luv to Light is blind... Erika: Personally I like man with childish character. Both of them (Tatsuya & Kenichi) are great actors and I learnt loads from them. For one complete hour that I was blinded and the 4 limps were binded, no matter physically or mentally's really hard. I like the movie (ending) more, because Light, L and Misa all ended in the way... coolly and daz why. Director Kaneko: The original uses pictures wisely to present different scenes and we've to think for our own way. Yup, the original's really long but to be a movie it can't be, so we chose to cut too much impact. Even L also has times disregarding human lives, and Light believes his own justice, there's no absolute justice and it's the basic element of this movie. Tags: Array
