Anzai MUGEN: Frieza vs Mai_K Response to SnowyPrower's video of Mai_K, however instead of using a character everyone else uses (Homer, Ryu, Cell, Shiki, etc), I use someone that's rarely used and probably better. =P Mai_K by Kuri... probably one of the most overpowered and cheap characters I've seen, and is deserving of this position. For one thing, she has strikers, about 2-3 of them and uses them whenever possible, even in the middle of your own combos. Not to mention she gains energy ridiculously fast, which is no small feet considering she has the standard amount of power bars (3), though you can't really tell cause her portrait takes up a large amount of space. Then there's her supers, and good god are they as overpowered as her strikers, some even REGAIN the super energy she pays to use them! That's not so much of a problem until she goes into one of her full-screen supers (when the background goes black), during which she regains just about all her energy and heals herself, though the healing is more random than anything. So how does one beat someone as cheap as her? Well there's a few ways. 1. Out-cheese her, using someone as equally cheap. However, since I prefer to use non-cheap characters, this is out of the question, plus I suck using cheapies (Metool being an exception). 2. Use someone who counters alot, and pray those counters involving putting Mai into a custom state. This is what I use, since she can't break free of custom states and it's also convinent that I modified Frieza months beforehand to make him a little more competitive as I was consindering putting him on my team at the time. Using Frieza by Choujin, I abuse 1 of 3 times at a time. 1. His button-dash. This is a godsend, since I modified his CMD to active his counter with the same button, explaining why I used it so easily. When I modified the CMD I also changed the required energy for Frieza's counter to 500, and his max power to 5000, however his charge will only reach 3000 until I get back to editting it. 2. Obviously, his one-button counter. Not only does it interrupt all but one of her supers (that being her full-screen), it also interrupts her strikers and can be used as a handy 'get-the-hell-away-from-me!' when I'm getting gangraped. 3. Her AI bugs. There are times during battle (you'll see it in the video) where she just stops, giving me time for a breather and to max out my energy, plus get in a free hit. However it's been a while since I used Frieza, so I forgot the CMD for his Level 3 --;. Not else can be said except she's a pain in the ass to kill, but beatable. Anzai MUGEN: Ryu Takes On The World Been a while since I did one of these, but it took even longer to record one that was half-decent. I take DG's Ryu on a single Survivor run, to varying degrees of success. Here's his list of opponents with their authors. 1. Sabertooth- Sludge 2. Orochi- GONZO- 3. Cassandra- H' 4. Iron-Man- Erradicator 5. Omega Rugal- ahuron 6. Sagat- Mouser 7. Rimururu- choiya (Note; the end of her match was cut short due to her random "sexy KO" pose, so I had to cut it out) 8. Jedah- Deuce 9. Orochi- Orochi Herman 10. Violent Ken- Dark Roken 11. Cyclops- Sunboy 12. Krizalid- J. Lee 13. Storm- Sunboy 14. Demitri- Angel Myst and Jin Kazama 15. Jazu- Ahuron 16. Andy- zzzasd 17. Frieza- Choujin And I finally went down to NeoKyo by Sander71113 while trying to counter his super, but failing miserably. OF Team Battles: Versus Team Anzai Next team battle up is against ModernRomio's Team Anzai consisting of Faust by Muteki and Shiki Nanaya by Toma & Raien Makoto. I intentionally wanted to bring Misuzu into this team battle but Toma's typical Japanese-esque Mugen obsession to give characters over 9000 CLSNs because hitting between the legs like totally "matters" serious made it impossible to play as Misuzu whenever Nanaya was in the team battlefield since without lagging my Mugen well... She herself have above average amount of CLSNs. So I had to settle with playing as Sayuri by 586 and partnering up with Bulleta by Beximus. Faust's huge size easily makes him the most targettable of the two since he has to deal with melee and projectile attacks all coming at his towering stature but as a compensation he has insane range thanks to his long arms and his giant scapel. As Muteki's Guilty Gear characters goes Faust is a major pain to beat but since he is being ganged up by a much smaller duo combined than himself weakens his prowess somewhat but he's not alone as he has Shiki Nanaya as support, who possesses quick attacks and highly damaging combos as well aerial raves. His knife also gives im above average range as well as his relative tall height to give im extra reach. Team Anzai vs Team Mortal Kombat First 2 on 2 team-battle I've done, using Sentinel (ER, controlled by me) and K' (Kaku and Gogo, AI-controlled) against Scorpion (Binho) and Shao Kahn (Mike Orbecht). It originally was supposed to be a 2 on 1 battle, using Perfect Cell (Choujin) and Omega Red (OnslaughtX) but Shao Kahn kept spanking me, so I decided to just go on a full-out team battle. Well, it was a rather easy battle, since most of the time I would rush in and do combos that took off a lot of life while K' just stood there as my meat shield for Shao Kahns huge attacks but they got in a couple of clean blows when I couldn't abuse Sentinel's invincibility frames during his Supers/Sentinel summon. You'll also notice that I didn't use Flight Mode in this one, mostly because it would have made the game more one-sided, or harder, I don't know cause I didn't bother with it. Anzai MUGEN: Sentinel Files: Shin Akuma Second posted video with Sentinel being the focus. This time it's him versus Shin Akuma (P.o.t.S.), which was surprisingly tough, even though Shin Akuma's AI isn't as hard as some people say (or maybe I'm just good with Sentinel, who knows), but it's still nothing to scoff at, since it makes use of it's Teleport and it's rolls, but not it's Parrying, which is a shame really. Overall, Shin Akuma's somewhat easy to exploit, if you've got a character that's got good Anti-Air moves since he loves to start off with a jumping dive kick or fireball, followed usually by a ground combo or an aerial super.
