A History of Evil Animated Documentary-Mockumentary about Evil in western civilization from Ancient Greece to present day. After all the comments I feel like some clarification is in order, but firstly, to you guys that liked it: Thanks, you've made my day. The film was intended to show what people have believed in and pointed to as evil throughout history. It was meant to get you to think about what evil really is. It is meant to show that when we get too obsessed with "evil" we might end up taking part in it ourselves. One has to separate evil and human cruelty. Human cruelty is people not being nice to one another. Evil is soemthing else, it is something we have created, a word and a concept for things that are not acceptable. It is a label for things that we do not understand and dont want to understand. But is evil really ever a complete explanation for anything? A lot of bad deeds has been done in the name of good. The people that did them ment good, are they evil? OK, and finally, This video is not meant to: -blame wester culture and people for all the "evil" in the world. I'm european, and thought that I better stick to my own history. -blame religion for all the evil in the world. -claim that God is dead. (It is simply a reference to the philosopher Nietzsche, look him up.) -offend anyone, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. -claim that Elvis was evil. -be an exact and complete account of the actual events that has taken place throughout history. This was a student project, hence the "unfinishedness" and abrupt ending. I ran out of time. I might update it later. It was animated frame by frame in flash and composited and textured in AfterEffects. Tags: animation art documentary short film evil stickmen history |

Largest Crash in NASCAR History Thanks to Rustyfan for this great capture. In 1960 Daytona Superspeedway hosted this sportsman race. 68 cars entered into the race, back then there were a maximum of 68 cars in a superspeedway race. Coming out of turn four 37 cars get into a massive wreck where at least six cars get on their roofs. Amazingly, evryone walked away from this. By the way, I am really getting tired of people having arguments that lead to name calling and slander. If I see a comment that put another member down or uses any derogatory language, I will delete it and any replies to it immediately. Also, if you do not like racing or think it is a sport, that's fine, but at least give some logical thought into a comment that you post. I will once again delete any comment along the line of "nascar sucks" or "nascar is for dumb rednecks LOL!!1!1". All I ask is for some civilized conversation, and not trash talking. History of Kiss KISS is an American glam rock/hard rock band formed in New York City in 1973. The group has performed and recorded continuously since their formation. KISS has sold 63 million albums worldwide and has been awarded 22 gold albums to date, and has certified sales of 19 million records in the United States. Easily identified by their trademark face paint (registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office) and stage costumes, KISS quickly rose to prominence on the basis of their elaborate live performances, which featured firebreathing, blood spitting, smoking guitars and pyrotechnics. The original lineup of Gene Simmons (bass and vocals), Paul Stanley (rhythm guitar and vocals), Paul "Ace" Frehley (lead guitar and vocals) and Peter Criss (drums and vocals) became the most successful and identifiable in the band's history, and released a series of gold and platinum albums throughout the 1970s. Due to substance abuse problems and creative differences, both Criss and Frehley were out of the group by 1982. The band's commercial fortunes had also waned considerably by that point. In 1983, KISS abandoned their makeup and enjoyed a commercial resurgence throughout the mid-to-late 1980s. They began to fall out of favor once again by the early 1990s, however. Buoyed by a wave of KISS nostalgia in the mid-1990s, the band announced a reunion of the original lineup (with makeup) in 1996. The resulting "KISS Alive Worldwide" tour was the top-grossing act of 1996. Criss and Frehley have since left KISS, and have been replaced by Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, respectively. The band continues to perform, while Stanley and Simmons have remained the only two constant members.
