Fractal Video Compression This is a result of project for some student interested in video compression methods. This shows rare fractal-based compression of the "Claire" sequence with my own encoder. I've used quadtree partitioning scheme with prediction. Current compression ratio is 140:1, but with compression of the quadtree itself (not only the blocks) and some motion compensation, higher compression ratio could be achieved.
