Resident Evil 4 Red 9 Only: Bella Sisters Route (1/5) This is another best handgun competition with 5 fully-upgraded handguns (Handgun, Punisher, Blacktail, Matilda and Red 9). It's Chapter 2-3, Bella Sisters Route (Left passage). I found it really fun to play here as it's like a real shooting gallery, particularly when bunch of villagers come towards you in the end. Red 9 shines here, particularly against Bella Sisters as its 6.5 firepower can floor them. You can also hold off enemies in distance and it has the best chance of critical headshots. Resident Evil 4: 3-1.4 PS2 Water Hall, Time Attack This is an excerpt (3-1 Garrador & Water Hall) of a quite special time attack through Resident Evil 4: New Game, Professional Mode, No Rocket Launcher, No Rocket Launcher (special), PlayStation 2, PAL 60Hz, No HDLoader used. The end result for this run was 2:27:38. With tweaking, it should be possible to dive below 2:25:00. A few mistakes were made in this video, which cost me about 5 seconds: (1) At the pressure-sensitive plate, Ashley doesn't move behind Leon while he turns around. A rare occurence - I got "lucky" this time. Grr. (2) Ashley was grabbed by a Zealot right before Leon's crank job was over, which means she has to get back up after the Flash Grenade is thrown. This always happened to me, but I think it's possible to prevent this occurence and save a second or two. (3) I had to kick the scythe Zealot pack to stun the red scythe Zealot *sigh*. (4) I equipped the Rifle (semi-auto) a little too early. (5) I turned around to spot Ashley's approach at the Water Hall exit. I might get around to doing a new run - when that happens, you can be sure that I'll be ironing out those mishaps. In case you'd like to add the two missed Rifle shots (one true miss, one failed decap) in the Ashley crank sequence to the error list: don't. As long as Ashley doesn't get interrupted while she's rotating the cranks, you are free to do what you want. Which, in my case, would be securing a few important items and making sure to catch Ashley right after she calls Leon. Seph, I hope this video is helpful for your FAQ. More videos of this special time attack might follow later. Personally, I like the grenade only video of this scene better as it's more spectacular (and blowing stuff up is always fun), but you simply don't have grenades'a'plenty in a New Game time attack. Furthermore, if you're wondering why the clip's in Italian - personal gimmick. As I own the PAL version of Resident Evil 4, I can choose between 5 languages and change it between saves. So I alternated between these languages during the entire run for a little variation. Requires DivX 5 codec or higher. Consider reducing the video to its original size for a sharper image by clicking the appropriate icon in the player (second icon, counting from the right). Movie has a low resolution and framerate, but this is irrelevant - it's the content that matters (plus, I'm not able to give you a better quality at the moment). Resident Evil 4: HUNK's Neck Breaker Ballet (PS2 version) CAUTION: this video contains graphic video game violence (the term "Neck Breaker" should be enough of a hint). If this disturbs you, stop loading this video NOW. HUNK is my favourite Resident Evil character by far. So I was quite happy to see him in the Resident Evil 4 Mercenaries bonus game. There, he sports a cool custom TMP but - more importantly - a supremely cool yet deadly finishing move called the Neck Breaker. In the Pueblo level, he can defeat every enemy with this move. So I thought to myself, "How many enemies can I defeat in the PlayStation 2 version using nothing but Neck Breakers"? A preliminary answer to this question (90 foes, 141000 points) can be seen in this video. The rules for a Neck Breaker Ballet are simple: (1) Grenades may not be used as a weapon (2) The TMP must be used to aim at the head with the intent to yield Neck Breakers (3) All enemies have to be defeated with a Neck Breaker, with the exception of (a) Plagas, (b) Ganados trying to torch you with their flame breath and (c) unintentional critical hits. (4) The combo chain may not be interrupted. You will see that I get hit a couple of times (which eventually cost me a First Aid Spray). The first of them was a timing mistake, the others were either unexpected grabs by the enemies or attacks which couldn't be evaded due to the Neck Breaker's recovery phase. Still, it is quite amusing to watch (given that you are (wo)man enough to stomach the gore), and most sequences worked out the way I wanted them to. The run is not optimal (for starterst, not taking hits would be better), and I'm going to try and beat my score in the future. Perhaps one day, I'll manage to break the 100 barrier. For now, enjoy this 90 combo run. Requires DivX 5 codec or higher.
