My Resophonic Guitar Collection "Truckin' Little Baby" (Blind Boy Fuller). Excellent tabs for this piece by Steve J. McWilliam at http://www.consult-eco.ndirect.co.uk/guitar/tab.htm I'm old. I remember the late '60s and early '70s and many depictions of this popular cartoon and slogan: http://12move.de/home/crumb/char_truckin.htm The slogan, "Keep on Truckin'", was inspired by one of two Blind Boy Fuller tunes; either "Truckin' My Blues Away" (most likely), or the one that I'm playing on this video, "Truckin' Little Baby". I believe "Truckin'" to be Blind Boy's rhyming euphemism for the present participle of the ever popular "F" word. If you listen carefully to the lyrics of "Truckin' Little Baby", I think you will likewise agree. When I was looking for a cabinet to keep my guitars in, I found, instead of a fake wood cabinet with glass doors, this large Cannon gun safe at Tractor Supply, for about the same price ($642.00). It has an electronic combination lock, is fire resistant (Intertek-ETL Verified - 1200° for 60 minutes) and weighs 620 lbs. I discarded all the gun racks and shelves, put a pad in the bottom, and made a guitar rack out of some scrap oak I had; and I plan to eventually install lighting, controlled by a refrigerator door switch. This is way better than some fake wood cabinet; and I don't live in that good of a neighborhood anyway. Played finger style on various resophonic guitars. Not featured was a fourth resophonic guitar I also still own, but which has been missing now almost fifteen years. This instrument is a nickel-plated, brass-bodied, Dobro model 90 "Duolian". It has a noticeable dent on the bottom of the lower bout, and an engraved palm tree on the back. If your conscience is bothering you, and you want to return it, or know where it is, please post here. There will be no questions asked, no ass kickings, and no criminal prosecutions; I would be overjoyed to get "Henrietta" back. Note: I wear the ski mask because I'm otherwise famous, and don't want this to "get out". Tobias Strömberg and Chad Graves Ibma 2007 Resophonic swap It was early in the Ibma weekend. I had Rick Faris playing my Rayco Reso, when he finished Tobias was standing there, so i just handed it over to him. This was the first moment I met him, I might add. He hung in with the jam for a bit till he decided to find a quiet spot to see what it really sounded like. so he got out his Rednote reso (man I hope that is the right name) and we threw down for a while.
