D/P Wi-Fi Battle: Marriland vs. Disfunction I AM NOT ACCEPTING CHALLENGES! ANY AND ALL CHALLENGES WILL BE IGNORED! For a change, I actually went out and challenged people. Three people, and that's it, just to test my skill level and hopefully rack up some losses. Disfunction (thecarious on YouTube) is the second of the challenged people, and this is our match. This doesn't mean that I'm accepting challenges again, nor am I challenging anyone else. I didn't do this for fun, I did it to shut a lot of you up in saying I'm the best player in the world or something. I AM NOT THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD! Please... Go to Smogon or something if you want to see some really good players. I lack experience, particularly against anything non-standard. I'm not saying I'm BAD, but could you all please just look at me like a normal competitive player rather than claiming me to be a super-god when I'm not? Thanks. Since I only have 12 Pokemon to work worth - since it's not like I actually have time to raise any new Pokemon (yet alone keep pumping out videos and updates) - I was pretty limited in the selection I'd use for this battle. Ah, how I envy you youngins that get to spend all your days training teams rather than doing things like working a job and running a site. d: So I apologize if my team seems "stale." I just don't believe in PokeSav'ing. Too bad it means I can never have a truly fair fight, since every opponent knows exactly what I have while I am clueless about their team. Oh well. Anyway, I was very nervous about this fight, even from before I went into it. I know that Disfunction is a well-respected YouTube battler and I hope will show any doubters out there what a true battler is like. I know that I made a few mistakes here, but it's just so darn hard trying to figure out what he's going to do. I think my biggest mess-up was thinking his Lucario was an Endure + Reversal or Sash + Reversal getting set up to sweep my team, but it was a Special-based one that I could see. Very well played, Disfunction, and great fight! (: Oh yeah, and I'm the female Trainer because I have been the male Trainer on every single other playthrough, and I was sick being the scrawny toothpick of a boy the male Trainer is. d: (I don't know why I have to keep explaining this.) wifi battle 119 KRDsonic vs. WillisTheUnbreakable (6th) I was litterally shaking after this battle. It was extremely close. Near the end, since I had choice specs, I was pretty much just watching the battle play out. So many things could have gone wrong for me at that point. Well, now I have an even record with him again :) And this is my first win against him that I've gotten to record. I thought it was funny how his Glaceon was named Thecarious and yet it got a few luck hax (just a little is all, nothing too serious at least). Anyways, yeah, this was a fun battle. Sandstorm team vs. Hail team. I haven't used this team in a few days. The reason I was using it was because someone else at marriland's site was wanting to test a team so I figured I'd use a team that I knew everything to and had used before, then I had this battle right afterwards. Pokemon WiFi Battle 93 (Disfunction)[Two Battles] hmm.... Looks like our good friend thecarious has been in a slump lately, as he said on AIM. The first match was just complete luck hax for me, which was kinda ironic given the pokemon on the team. The Machamp was untested, everything seems to carry T-bolt for Gyarados, Claydol tends to get hit by random Shadow Claws/Night Slashes, and Porygon-Z tends to fall short of KOing (I intend to fix that soon). In the second battle, I decided to use some of my older guys. I don't know if he heard me (VC was weak for some reason), but I said "If send out a Charizard against my Lapras, you are fucking retarded". So not exactly what I wanted, but i intend on fixxing that in the future... Oh yeah, if there is any of this "ZOMG DisSy is teh n00b" crap, or any other types of insults toward him, expect to be blocked, and don't expect to be unblocked until Hell freezes over, and Im not talking about the one in Finland.
