WGT 2008 MDR ganz in schwarz Wave Gotik Treffen [ Teil 1/3 ] Der MDR brachte zum WGT 2008 nochmal eine längere Fassung seines "nah dran" Berichts ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhO5xpd68LY ) von 2007. Die letzten Minuten fehlen leider. Teil 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnr5MeD3TrU „Schwarz sein ist ein Gefühl" sagt Nicole und schneidet schwarzen Lackstoff für ihr Kostüm für das „Wave Gotik Treffen" in Streifen. Jedes Jahr zu Pfingsten wird Leipzig schwarz. Seit 1992 kommen jährlich mehrere Tausend Anhänger der Szene aus der ganzen Welt zum Wave Gotik Treffen und versetzten die alte Messestadt in einen Patchouli duftenden Ausnahmezustand. Vier Tage lang lassen die Gotiks ihr normales Leben hinter sich und tauchen in eine Welt, die Außenstehenden oft düster erscheint, die aber viel lebensbejahender und fröhlicher ist, als viele denken. „Alte Hasen" in der Szene sind die Leipziger Marion und ihr Mann Bernd. Beide sind inzwischen über 60 und arbeiten in einem Szene-Club. Vor 20 Jahren reagierten sie zunächst schockiert und besorgt, als ihr Sohn sich plötzlich nur noch schwarz kleidete. Dass das „Unnormale" ein Wochenende normal wird, ist für die 35jährige Apothekenhelferin Nicole das Faszinierende am Wave Gotik Treffen. Vor vier Jahren zog sie aus ihrem kleinbürgerlichen, katholischen Heimatdorf im Rheinland nach Leipzig, weil sie sich hier zum ersten Mal in ihrem Leben nicht als Außenseiterin fühlt. Mittelalterfan Mono ist schon zum fünften Mal beim Wave Gotik Treffen dabei. Doch in diesem Jahr muss sich der 25jährige Musiker beweisen: Als Solo-Musiker soll er mit seiner Laute ein Konzert bestehen. Und ganz nebenbei hofft er, auf dem Festival vielleicht sogar einer neuen Liebe über den Weg zu laufen. Die Reportage begleitet Menschen unterschiedlichen Alters und sozialer Herkunft vier Tage während des Schwarzen Festivals in Leipzig. Der Film zeigt nicht nur schwarzes Lebensgefühl, sondern vor allem viele komische und „bürgerliche" Momente eines Festivalwochenendes. Er erzählt von den Leipzigern und ihrer Gelassenheit, von schwarzen Paradiesvögeln und Mitläufern, von morbiden Gedankenwelten und was tatsächlich dahinter steckt.
