Chris was an amazing soldier, son, brother and friend. Chris' dad, Garland Mason asked me (Joe Monto) if I would write a song for Chris. I didn't have to think about it - the answer was an immediate YES. Not only did I want to write a song about Chris, I wanted to have it professionally recorded. I contacted my good friend and Seattle producer, Brandon Bee. Although I did not personally know Chris, I feel as if God has connected our hearts together for this purpose. We started recording today (Day 1). Garland gets credit for helping with the incredible lyrics. This song will soon be released!! Keep checking back.
