Reggaeton is the fusion of Spanish music with Reggae beats, first popularized in Panama, and now popular all over the world. A lot of Reggaeton's original roots can be traced back to Soca and Chutney music, and this song seems to be a nice homage to that. The unique fusion of these two genres is paralelled by the recent experimentation by Reggaeton and Indian artists of Indian-Reggaeton fusion (see Daddy Yankee's Mirame, for example), often called "Bhangraton", even if the songs aren't necessarily Bhangra.
