Also the more you try to make your programs in assembly, the cleaner the assembly will be in representation, because you are still trying to structure your code.. Even if your code is highlky functional and uses recursion, the actual functional code will bve minimal and easily backward engineered.. Your only choice is to obfuscate your processes, maybe use lots and lots of indirect pointers, and loose all possible structure.. But that creates more security holes, inefficient code, and bugs? BINGO!! You can't escape from open source.. Not even Microsoft's investors, which is the key reason Microsoft's applications are proprietary. Investors invest in products that are hidden behind tons of ionaccessible technology. But the software world is the public domain by nature, since computer technology is accessible. Microsoft's success relies on its ability to obfuscate its processes, rename functions, and such.. Which would shed light on why they have to change the structure of their code and change interfaces and workings every 2-4 years.. Change is always progress for Microsoft, but changes for consumers is only progress some of the time.
