GTA IV (GTA 4) - UFO Mystery PLEASE READ THIS!!! Now, I know that they are probably meant to represent aircraft lights, but at times I'm not more than 50 feet off of the surface of the water and they appear MILES in the distance below me! I could never gain on them or shoot them! Rockstar Games didn't program perspective/distance into these "lights" very well. Sometimes they moved in ways that an object that is supposed to be that "far away" couldn't possibly move. They are not police helicopters as they didn't show up on the map. And they are NOT boats. I went lower to check and they were definitely flying objects. Are they UFOs? They are flying and I sure can't catch them to indentify them! PLEASE WATCH ENTIRE VIDEO!!!!!!!!! GTA IV - REVIEW - BRAND NEW!! Grand Theft Auto IV (also known as GTA IV and GTA 4) is a sandbox-style action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North.[11] It is the ninth title in the Grand Theft Auto series and the first in its fourth generation. Liberty City, based heavily on New York City. Roman is the only person Niko knows in Liberty City to begin with, and is one of his major connections in the first part of the game. Niko is a tough character, whereas Roman is friendly. Roman is heavily in debt and a lot of people are after him. He desperately needs Niko's support, hence the reason he deceived Niko into travelling to Liberty City. Police and wanted levels operate differently. When the police are in search of Niko, the player has to avoid a certain radius marked on the map in which the police will be looking for him. The size of this radius increases with the player's wanted level (the more stars, the bigger the radius) and re-centres itself on Niko's location if he is spotted by the police (similar to Scarface: The World Is Yours). Instead of utilizing the "Pay 'N' Spray" as in previous games, Niko has to realistically disguise himself by clandestinely changing vehicles in empty areas such as parking garages, a feature seen in the video game Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. GTA IV PS3 Freeze ***READ THIS FIRST*** DISABLING THE INTERNET DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!! There is a new patch out for those who were able to play by disabling the internet. The patch DOES NOT FIX THE FREEZING ISSUE FOR OFF LINE PLAY. I have a 60gig PS3, got it Nov. of 06. I'm using the regular Ol' G Sixaxis. I had previously skipped the cut-scene and was able to play enough to get to Roman's apartment, and surprisingly enough I got through that cut-scene as well. I had saved it and tried to do the next mission but right outside it froze. The background of my PS3 seems plain cuz I had formatted the HDD before I got that far, didn't really help. Things I Know 1) It's happening with all types of PS3 models as well as the 360. 2) As you saw deleting the files for GTA 4 doesn't do shit. 3) The type of controller doesn't matter, Sixaxis or DS3. 4) Freeing up space on the HDD doesn't help either. 5) The CD is perfectly fine, no scratches or dust on it. I even exchanged the game twice. Same result every time. 6) Turning off auto save doesn't help either. 7) Cooling isn't the problem. 8) Disabling the internet works for some, but not for me. 9) Deleting the Cache and the Cookies didn't help either. 10) Turning off the Information Board Banner doesn't help. 11) Turning off the PS/PS2 Upscaler or the PS/PS2 Smoothing doesn't help. My Theory. GTA IV is over running the RAM and causes the whole console to crash. I disabled the comments because I wasn't getting any information about the freeze in fact all I got was a bunch of fucking fagots arguing on what console is better. Ok people I'm not here trying to say 360 is better than PS3 or PS3 is better than 360. In fact they both have their own problems and they aren't perfect. The reason why I posted this video is to inform people that this is really occurring because a few people stated that the 360 fans were in the forums making up crap about GTA 4 freezing up the PS3. I just want to find a fucking solution to the problem not an argument. DO NOT PM ME ON BULLSHIT ONLY IF YOU FIND A LEGITIMATE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM.
