1/27/08 - GUNSHOTS near Chicago Nightclubs DOCUMENTING CHICAGO'S LAKE & HALSTED NEIGHBORHOOD: Providing random views of the local nightlife, from LAKEandHALSTED.com SUNDAY 1-27-08, 3:10 AM: EIGHT consecutive gunshots can be heard towards the beginning of the video (34 sec.), immediately followed by Shadow Bar Nightclub security running left (east). Seconds later, 12th District Police TAC Officers, already at the scene in an unmarked Chicago Police car, turn on their siren and speed to Halsted, turning north, towards the gunfire. Within moments, several additional Police vehicles were combing the entire neighborhood. Security from some of the local clubs assisted Police in their search, but neither the shooter nor a target was located. The gunshots have not been attributed to disturbances at any of the clubs, and appear to be random. There haven't been any street brawls since the Chromium Niteclub closed on 12/3/07. However, after Police and club security left to pursue the gunman, Shadow Bar patrons argue in the street, with one man yelling repeatedly, "He got a club!". The video camera was set on remote, facing south, and captured the gunshots through a closed window, muting the sound at the beginning of the video. The gunshots appear to have occurred on the east side of the building. In the video, you'll see exiting Shadow Bar patrons with the front end of the unmarked Chicago Police car on the far right. After being awakened, the window was opened and the camera operated by hand, turning east, towards the Lake & Halsted intersection. Robbery & Gunshots in Vaughan (Thornhill) Ontario- Promenade 2007 06 11 - robbery and gun shots (shooting) in thornhill (June 11, 2007)- Promenade Shopping mall - Thornhill, Ontario, Canada Man arrested after daytime mall robbery toronto.ctv.ca A 30-year-old man is in custody after a brazen daytime robbery and car chase in Vaughan on Monday. The armed suspect allegedly held up a jewelry store at the Promenade Mall near Bathurst and Centre Streets at around 1:30 p.m. Unarmed security guards confronted the man at the jewelry store, but were told to back off or the situation would escalate. The suspect fled the scene with two bags of loot as security guards and police pursued the man on foot. Leo Baeck Day School in Thornhill, only a block away from the shopping centre, was locked down at around 1 p.m. after the suspect began firing at police in the schoolyard where some elementary students were having gym class. "He took a gun out of his pocket and threatened to kill my teacher," one student at the school told CTV News. "I was lying on the ground, curled up in a ball; I was so nervous," said another student. The suspect eluded police at the school and ran into a nearby home on Rodeo Drive where he forced two young women into their van. Police seized a silver handgun from the van after they apprehended the suspect on Keele Street just south of Highway 7 in the afternoon. There were no injuries reported, however, the two women in the van were taken to hospital to be examined. Police will announce more details on Tuesday during a press conference. The trick to killing Exodus is to do it quickly before he puts his paling up for perfect defense. First Infuse and bravery/beserk 2 gunners with FomalHaut. I also gave them the best defense equipment so they are both wearing Dragon Mail, Steel Mask. At 10hp they will likely hit 9999 damage often, so taking care of Exodus quickly. Lastly I put Main Gauche, Demon Sheild (or best evade sheild) on my player. I also put shell up to increase my protection vs his Flare and Scathe Spell from Exodus. Just before entering I gave myself decoy so that Exodus won't take out my Infused players. Just as I stole Exodus I brought in my 2 Infused players, and I turn Exodus around so he would only hit me with his Scathe Spell. That way free shots for my infused players. I also had Gil Toss on gambit to help putting more damage. And finally I had Dawn Shard to increase my magic resistances so that the Flare or Scathe Spell wouldn't kill me on 1 shot. I never used reverse. You won't need it if you kill him fast. The whole trick is your infused players doing 9999 damage on each hit. I would like to credit and thank Projectz3 because this strategy is his. Granted permission about 2-3 months ago.
