week in new york It's been a while since I've posted an entry, and I'm happy to finally have a new video to share (especially considering that my last entry wasn't the most cheerful). This week's video documents my recent trip to New York City. I was in town for several meetings, rehearsals, a recording session, and a show with DJ Johnny Juice at Pace University. I was also lucky to be invited to appear on Rocketboom, one of my favorite online shows. Not only that, I was able to find a little time to catch up with good friends and family. All in all, it was a very exciting week! Speaking of exciting, Inka and I will be performing at Playboy's "Rock the Rabbit" Spring Break Festival this coming weekend. I'll be taking my camera with me, so check for that video soon! Also, I am thinking of playing a live concert online sometime soon with my guitarist Ken Belcher (most likely via ustream). As soon as I figure out all the technical aspects to make that happen, I'll be sure to post all the details. (If any of you have experience broadcasting live musical performances online, please send me an email or leave me a comment!) Sorry that this entry is written so haphazardly. I'm in a rush to get several writing projects done before I leave town this weekend. Vlog Preview: One Week in January Last month, I promised a site and show launch for January, and I still plan to do so! While I get everything ready for the actual launch of the site and show, check out this preview video that documents the events of my past week: performing at the Los Angeles Philharmonic's "Concrete Frequency" event; opening up with DJ Johnny Juice for Public Enemy and DMC at the Hard Rock Las Vegas; and exhibiting for Skullcandy and Beyond.FM at CES 2008! *I forgot to link DMC in the video!
