Goofing off in Multimedia Fusion 2 This is an old Mario engine I ported into the newly released Multimedia Fusion 2 to test out it's new features. Among the new features: - Scaling and Rotation - Proper Additive/Subtraction blending modes - OGG and Module support - A faster rendering engine I test most of them in this video. For instance, Luigi, for his different sizes, is scaled in real-time. The Boo ghosts use Additive blending (to make them appear glowy). The darkness effect is using Subtractive blending (in combination with scaling to make it appear as if you are adjusting the lighting level). Rotation is used on Luigi when he runs (he leans forward slightly) - it's also used on the Mega Mushroom. Dunno really what to do with this engine. Was planning on maybe making a level editor for it, but I only have six days left on my MMF2 demo. Tags: Multimedia Fusion Mario fangame blazehedgehog |
