Belgrade Serbia Kosovo - USA & Slovenia Embassy Attacked Hundreds of protesters - described by police as hooligans - rallied outside the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade. Skirmishes broke out after riot police moved in to disperse them, and groups of masked thugs ran through downtown Belgrade, at one point breaking the windows at two McDonalds restaurants. They stoned the embassy of Slovenia - which holds the European Union's rotating presidency - breaking windows and tearing down Slovenian and EU flags. Zaradi vdora je zunanji minister Dimitrij Rupel osebno protestiral pri srbskem kolegu Vuku Jeremiću, so sporočili z MZZ Minister Rupel je zahteval, da srbske oblasti zagotovijo varnost slovenskim diplomatom in drugim slovenskim državljanom. Srbski minister je obljubil ustrezne ukrepe, so še zapisali na MZZ.
