Violence Compilation 3: Slipknot - Surfacing WARNING: GRAPHIC VIOLENCE I am telling you right now, if you can't stand gore (human and animal, mostly towards the beginning), do not watch, although the bulk of it cools down a good bit after the first 1/3rd of the video. Don't say I didn't warn you either way. The third installment of insanity cometh. This time, we've got plenty o' street fights and crashes, as well fires, explosions, as more violent video game footage, and, it's about time, Resident Evil 4 footage in here, plus horror movie scenes, monsters, and some other surprises. This was a Christmas gift to you lovers of violence/mayhem and Slipknot. Be warned that some real, gruesome images of death appear, and sorry/be warned if that offends you. Me, I just think it's interesting to compare real and simulated gore, because either way, there's nothing we can do about what has happened, despite any shame anyone feels for such deaths. I do this to entertain people who are into this stuff and to show samples of the world's insanity. I'm not a diehard Slipknot fan but I think that a few of their songs, such as this one, are pretty cool (but not the best ever), and a bunch of guys acting insane with crazy clips well represents this world's insanity. I'll try listening to anything once, and Slipknot happened to be something I found tolerable. For those who don't know, "Surfacing" is about breaking from society, as the chorus lines indicate. The rest of the song talks about how society's rule and annoying things about the world "surface" to the point that you are "running out of ways to hide/run" (as many can relate to) and are being suffocated, to the point that you break away. Special thanks to all clip sources, especially those with a lot of clips, as I was able to compile this really fast as a twisted way to end 2006 and begin 2007.
