Gear list: KORG Electribe R mkII MFB SYNTH LITE II KORG KAOSS PAD KP3 (MIDI controller) Edirol UA-101 (audio and MIDI interface) Ableton Live (sequencing, effects and recording) I bought UA-101 last week. UA-101 is USB2.0-compatible audio interface with 10-channel audio I/O. I threw out an old analog mixer and installed it to my live rig. All audio signals are fed to DAW separately, so I can freely route signals on DAW in realtime (thanks to Ableton). I think this is a wonderful solution for streaming live performances... KP3 as a MIDI Controller Ableton Live with KORG KAOSS PAD KP3. Stage6 version: http://stage6.divx.com/content/show/1099801 In "EXT CTRL" mode, KP3 acts as a MIDI controller. It has eight virtual sliders, fourteen keys, one slider and volume. These controllers are assignable to any MIDI notes or CCs using KP3-Editor (PC software). KP3 is not just a multi effector; It is also a MIDI controller with nice LED illumination :) I think KP3 is one of most cost-effective gears in the current market. Nord Micro Modular Nord Micro Modular + Behringer DD100 (Digital Delay) The Nord Micro Modular is "a somewhat stripped down version of the massive Nord Modular system" (from Vintage Synth Explorer). Clavia has discontinued this product several years ago, and never released a similar product. Thus this red small box has been a very unique product so far. MFB-SYNTH LITE II MFB-SYNTH LITE II is a little monophonic synthesizer from Berlin. I like this sweet little box, but also I found some bad points. Good points: It has a very analog-ish sound character (although it uses digital oscillators). Suboscillator and ring modulator give it much complexity. It offers not only warm sounds but also fat and dirty sounds. It has an intuitive interface in spite of its small size. I think it is well designed "as it should be". Bad points: In fact, LITE II is not a reliable product. Its built-in step sequencer has many flaws. Overall sound quality is not good (there is noticeable amount of noise).
