Grave Digger #1 Tribute Video A tribute video to one of the most famous monster trucks of the mid-1980s, Grave Digger #1. This Grave Digger truck made it's TNT Motorsports television debut at a 1987 event in the Houston Astrodome, and continued to race on the TNT Motorsports series until late 1988, when Grave Digger #2 was built. This is the Grave Digger that is famous for its first victory over the Bigfoot monster truck, at a January 1988 show in St. Paul, Minnesota. After it's competition time had ended, the truck remained outdoors to rust, until being "resurrected" for a display at the 2007 Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. The truck currently resides outside the "Digger's Dungeon" shop in North Carolina, on display with the Grave Digger #2 monster truck. A special thanks to Ross Bonar, of "The Monster Blog," who provided photographs of the truck from the 2007 Las Vegas display (photos at 2:33, 4:39, 5:06, 5:29, 5:40, and 5:52).
