Minesweeper expert 52 seconds - my record Enough of uploading other people's records, here's my 52 second game,, beating my 58 from before! I'm now ranked 45th in the world. 3rd best in australia. This video is also a test-run of the clone 2007 feature of "events", which shows things like wasted clicks, guesses, hesitations etc. with a yellow circle and text. minesweeper cheater expert 35 seconds This is a video someone tried to submit as a world record. It is very obviously using a solver program instead of someone using a mouse and clicking it. The real record is 38. You can see it's a cheat: 1) from the fact that every mine gets flagged - the best players flag around 60 mines maybe, and never ever every single mine 2) by the fact that the player doesn't do a single double-click (see the minesweeper help-file for what that does) despite flagging everything. double-clicking is the only reason that flags are used by the best players 3) the mouse movement - you can see the program is scanning rows and columns instead of normal human motion. 4) the fact that the player must have done about 10 clicks per second but still co-ordinating each single one. Few players get anything near 5 effective clicks per second. Honestly, who cheats in minesweeper?
