Agency for Instructional Television Logo (1982) This is the opening credit for the independent non-profit, Agency for Instrucional Television or AIT. In 1984 the name would change slightly to The Agency for Instructional Technology. Started in 1962 to distribute instructional TV programs and materials to educational TV stations throughout the US, it changed it's name to the National Instructional Television Center or NIT in 1970.
