IZ & Makaha Sons - Kaleohano A rare video of "Kaleohano" performed live by Israel (Bruddah IZ) Kamakawiwo'ole at the 1996 Hawaii Music Awards ceremony. Featuring an impromptu guest performance by his former bandmates, the Makaha Sons of Ni'ihue, led by his brother-in-law Louis "Moon" Kauakahi. This was their last such performance together before Bruddah Iz's untimely death in 1997. It is the only known live video recording of both together. Very emotional. A tribute to Bruddah IZ - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, a favorite son of Hawaii whose music brought joy to millions the world over. While IZ had recorded a version of "Over The Rainbow", this version is unique in that it features a medley of both "Over The Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World."
