Children's Remains Found In Storage Facility Some Bakersfield residents mad a grisly find on August 19th, when they decided to clean out some items from a storage shed they shared with others at Derrel's Mini Storage. First they found what looked to be a severely decomposed hand, then later, in a separate container, skeletal remains were found. These remains were taken by investigators so that they could be examined. Supervising Deputy Coroner John Van Rensselaer has now stated that the remains were of two children 11 to 13-years-old, a boy and a girl, and have probably been dead for two to four years. 3-year-old boy killed by jet ski YUBA CITY, CA - A day of fun for a family ended a nightmare on Saturday all because of two compelte morons. At around 5:30 Saturday afternoon, 3-year-old Dominique was washing his shoes off in about 6-inches of water as his family prepared to leave after a day of swimming. As usual with most lakes and rivers, there were boats, skiers and jetski's on the water. Pettit and a man got into an argument in the parking lot of the Pembroke Pines post office on Tuesday morning. It may have been over a parking space. Christian Taylor, 14, Killed His Mother With A Flashlight On August 2nd at 3:55 a.m., 911 operators recieved a call and heard the sounds of a woman screaming along with the unmistakable sound of an object hitting another object repeatedly before the screaming stops. State troopers are dispatched to the address the call originated from and Christian Taylor, 14, answered the door stating he was unaware of any problems and told the troopers he would go get his mother, 40-year-old Francine Morgan. When he returned to the troopers, he stated that there was blood in her room. When troopers went inside, they found Francine Morgan's body on the floor, a bloody flashlight on the bed as well as blood splattered on the floor, ceiling and walls. Kenneth Douglas is a necrophile Back in August of 1982, 19-year-old Karen Range answered her door and was greeted by a door-to-door salesman named David Joseph Steffen. Steffen severely beat the teen and slashed her throat with a paring knife in such a manner that the girl was almost decapitated. He was convicted of aggravated murder, rape and aggravated burglary in 1983, and sentenced to death. While he admitted to the killing, he has always maintained his innocence in regards to the rape. Unattended Baby Killed By Puppy 2-month old Zane Allen Earles was let unattended in the home he shared with his parents, 18-year-old Tyler Craig, and mother, 17-year-old Linzy Earles and grandparents. At around 8 a.m. Monday morning, Tyler Craig left the residence. The baby's grandfather then left the home around 8:30 in the morning after putting Zane in an elevated, wind-up child swing. The only two people left in the house aside from the baby were the baby's grandmother and Linzy. Oh, and a 2 to 3-month old black lab. At around 10:19 Monday morning, someone in the home called 911. When the paramedics arrived, they found 2-month old Zane Alen Earles dead. He had been mauled to death by the dog. While the death was an accident, investigators are now trying to determine how long the child had been dead, and how this happened without any of the family members noticing. Alyssa Dies In Sweltering Death Trap GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Or at least that's what Devin Scillian from Click On Detroit calls it. It was actually a car seat. 18-month old Alyssa died after being left in the family truck for 2-hours while it sat in the driveway of the family's home. Temperatures that day reached 88 degrees. The father was the last one to drive the truck. When the parents realized that the toddler had been left in the vehicle, they found Alyssa bundled up in a car seat behind the drivers side of the truck.
