Pokemon - Battle Aboard the St. Anne: James is a "COOL" Girl From the dub of the Pokemon anime. This scene is taken from episode #15, Battle Aboard the St. Anne, from the original series. This is probably one of the most memorable scenes from all eleven years that Pokemon has been on the air. Team Rocket/the Rocket Dan dressed up like schoolgirls to trick Ash/Satoshi and his friends to board the St. Anne cruise ship. Tags: Pokemon St. Anne James Cool |

Power Rangers Series: 15th Anniversary Tribute Every Ranger actor and Ranger-like helper from the first fifteen years of the show with the movie version of "Go Go Power Rangers" playing over the clips. I really wanted to include the Jungle Fury cast in this, but there are two problems with that: 1) only 60% of them have their powers at this point; and 2) I was already rushing through the second half of the Rangers to fit everybody within the five minutes of the song. I didn't have time to include the Mighty Morphin Ninja Ranger morph or the morph from the movie. Using the movie's theme song and the Ninja Rangers morphing in the Power Rangers was my way of acknowledging them. I'm pretty sure the only debatable characters I've left out are Clare (and she still got an on-screen credit from Udonna's shot anyway) and the Sentinel Knight from Overdrive who was pretty worthless anyway. I put in characters like Ninjor and the Blue Senturion because they were Ranger-like and had their own Zord forms. I also put in Boom's Orange Ranger dream because I happen to like Boom and he was credited with Kat anyway. The characters who aren't credited on-screen are, in order: Ninjor -- voiced by Kim Strauss Delphine -- portrayed by Raija Baroudi Aurico -- portrayed by David Bacon Cestro -- portrayed by Karim Prince Tideus -- portrayed by Jim Gray Corcus -- portrayed by Alan Palmer Trey -- portrayed by Ted, Tom and Tim DiFillipo, voiced by Brad Hawkins Auric the Conqueror -- voiced by Derek Stephen Prince Blue Senturion -- voiced by David Walsh Phantom Ranger -- voiced by Alex Dodd Alex -- portrayed by Jason Faunt Sam the Omega Ranger -- voiced by Brett Stewart Nova Ranger -- voiced by Antonia Prebble Leanbow - portrayed by Chris Graham Tags: MMPR Zeo Turbo Space Galaxy Lightspeed Timeforce Wildforce Ninja Storm Dinothunder SPD Power Rangers MF OO |

MMPR Season 3: Unused Kakuranger Episode #10 Footage Click for background information... Konakojijī was the youkai in episode ten of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, which was adapted to make season three (the ninja-based season) of MMPR in the US. His human form was a middle-aged man who lived in "Neverland" with a family of dolls. He could take the form of a baby to suck the life out of adults who tended to him. This allowed him to retain his youth, as he was actually much older. Konakojijī was one of the Kakuranger youkai who was not featured as a monster of the day in Power Rangers, and it's not hard to see why. Most of the footage is unusable due to the Kakurangers in civilian form. Other than that, there are a lot of scenes with the dolls that would go absolutely nowhere for an American show like PR. If Konakojijī were used in MMPR/MMAR, however, here are the morphed and mecha battles that could have been used... as well as some footage that could have been used for the storyline, I suppose. But to even use the scenes with Sasuke being held captive, a lot of clever editing would have been needed by Saban. The Kakurangers debut their "Kakuranger Ball" attack and this too would look highly out of place for use by the Alien Rangers. All and all, it isn't a huge surprise that the youkai got skipped altogether. Tags: Kakuranger Mighty Morphin Power Rangers |

MMPR Season 3: Unused Kakuranger Episode #8 Footage Click for background information... Bakeneko was the youkai in episode eight of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, which was adapted to make season three (the ninja-based season) of MMPR in the US. Her human form was a pet store owner who would kidnap children and serve them as meals to monsters. Bakeneko was one of the Kakuranger youkai who was not featured as a monster of the day in Power Rangers, though elements of her costume were used to create an American-made monster in "A Friend in Need." If I had to guess why she was not used in PR, I would assume it has something to do with her chest. If Bakeneko were used in MMPR/MMAR, however, here's the morphed and mecha battles that could have been used... after editing out some of the awesome silliness and the part where the Japanese kid is about to get axed. MMPR Season 3: Unused Kakuranger Episode #9 Footage Click for background information... Dorotabou was the youkai in episode nine of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, which was adapted to make season three (the ninja-based season) of MMPR in the US. His human form was a couch potato who was desperate to get on TV. He fought the Kakurangers, particularly the unmorphed NinjaBlack in a cage, because he was bitter that they got featured on the news. Dorotabou was one of the Kakuranger youkai who was not featured as a Monster of the Day in Power Rangers. This is probably because there isn't a lot of morphed footage and Japanese civilians are featured throughout the parts we do get. I'm kind of glad MMPR didn't use this youkai because the costume is really ugly and those mud attacks don't really look like mud... but, if Dorotabou WAS used, these scenes are probably the only ones that could have been salvaged after removing the pieces with civilians. Asian Power Rangers My friend TK wanted a run-down of the Asian Power Rangers over the years... so I threw together a crappy little movie in Windows Movie Maker for him. I included the Rangers played by Filipino(a) actors but not the Rangers played by Pacific Islanders like Shane and Daggeron. The run-down: Trini Kwan -- Yellow Mighty Morphin Power Ranger (Seasons 1-2) Adam Park -- Black Mighty Morphin Power Ranger (Seasons 2-3); Green Zeo/Turbo Ranger (Seasons 4-5) Cassie Chan -- Pink Turbo/Space Ranger (Seasons 5-6) Kai Chen -- Blue Lost Galaxy Ranger (Season 7) Chad Lee -- Blue Lightspeed Ranger (Season 8) Lucas Kendall -- Blue TimeForce Ranger (Season 9) Alyssa Enrile -- White WildForce Ranger (Season 10) Cameron Watanabe -- Green Samurai Ranger (Season 11) Trent Fernandez -- White Dino Ranger (Season 12) NOT PICTURED: The evil Pink A-Squad Ranger from Season 13, SPD. Dax Lo -- Blue Overdrive Ranger Rose Ortiz -- Pink Overdrive Ranger (Season 15) Theo -- Blue Jungle Fury Ranger (Season 16) Michael Copon (Lucas), Jessica Rey (Alyssa), Jeffrey Parazzo (Trent) and Rhoda Montemayor (Rose) are the Filipino actors who have played human Rangers; Kevin Kleinberg, who is Filipino, played Trip in TimeForce, but Trip is technically an alien, so I did not include him. Apparently Angie Diaz, who played Vida in Mystic Force, is also Filipina, but I could not find any confirmation of that besides a category tag on Wikipedia. Tags: Asian Power Rangers |
