Short keyboard solo freestyle at a live gig A little bit of our live set that didnt fit on the 10 min promo (it was earlier in the set) of me playing an improvised synth solo. The Edirol PCR-50 controller feeds MIDI to the Roland MC-808 which hosts the synth sound. All MIDI is routed via Ableton Live. "Sensation" (Clocks Remix) Live The fourth out of five tracks in my December live set. All sounds are triggered live, no timeline sequence at all! Each synth/sound module etc is loaded with loops that can be switched on and off via the padKontrol. I also apply effects such as adjustment to filter cutoff to create the buildups. Novastorm - Siytek Live Uplifting trance created while board at work. The backing track is Ableton live manipulated with an Edirol PCR-M30. The lead lines are from the Roland G70 and the piano sound is played on the PCR midi keyboard. Everything is live and made up as I go along, using this technique in my live set means I can play any of my tunes in any order, like a DJ selecting a vinyl.
