You Are Everything To Me (featuring spricket24) This is a remix and remaster in 24 bits/ 96 kHz of one of the first songs that I uploaded to You Tube. I then took a second shot at it but wasn't happy with the results. I wrote this song and sing and play all of the instruments as usual. This production consists of Drums, 2 Bass parts (second bass plays 5ths), 2 Piano parts (second piano plays an octave higher), 2 Rhythm/Melodic Guitar parts (second guitar plays 3rds on melodic lines and an octave higher on power chords), a lead guitar part, and lead vocals. Since You've Been Away (featuring Bobby Hacker) This is a remix/remaster in 24 bits/96kHz of a song that I uploaded hastily a few months ago. I was never happy with the sound quality and felt that I ruined a great video (featuring Sandie Black). It went over well but not with me. If you compare the two, you'll notice a remarkable difference. Also, this version was done on very vintage equipment since I always felt that the song had a sort of 1950's to early 60's vibe to it. So I limited myself to Pultec eqs, a 140 Plate Reverb, tape delay, tube preamps, and Urei 1176 and Fairchild 670 compressors. This video features some of the stars of Bobby Hacker's channel. I have immense respect for Bobby and consider him the King of Comedy here on the tube and am immensely flattered and overjoyed that he agreed to collaborate with me on a few videos. Strawberry Jam (featuring Toxicambuuur ) This composition is based on a riff that I created and used to jam to with my friends as a kid. Back then I used to front a band called The Strawberry Blondes so I named this "Strawberry Jam". Its not about marmalade baby. This track features rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, and drums. All played by me as usual. I cranked a Urei 1176 compressor massively on the snare and the kick drums until they smacked to get that vintage sound. Tube amp and cry baby wah wah in there as well of course. The beautiful woman in my video is Amber AKA Toxicambuuur. She's a very talented dancer whose moves demonstrate immense precision and a total control of her body. She's also a very talented editor with an excellent eye for composition. I Know Its Hard (featuring BobbyHacker) This is a remixed and remastered version of a song that I uploaded 4 months ago. It sounds very different from the previous version and was upsampled to 24 bits, 96 kHz so you'll notice a big difference if you've heard the other version. This video features a real treat in the way of Bobby Hacker. He's a brilliant comedian/filmmaker here on You Tube and he was kind enough to allow me to re-edit some of his clips in order to make this video. I consider this man a genius if there is such a thing. His clips of irreverent satire are so brilliant that I really don't have the words to express how great they are. This guy is just unbelievably talented and takes comedy to a level that I've rarely seen it taken to. The Gates of Destiny (featuring kel2corkey) I wrote this song when I was in High School and still consider it my best one. I was skipping school with one of my fellow troublemakers and as we were downing some beers at a park, I managed to utter the first line of this song. My friend looked at me in amazement and said "Damn dude you're a poet". When I got home that evening, I picked up my guitar and wrote the song. It practically wrote itself. I don't subscribe to organized religion but I am a spiritual person and I assumed that the song was about the afterlife and the second coming. The funny thing is that when I was remixing this track, I created a drum buss and as I usually do, named it with the song's acronym plus drums. I then noticed that the letters spelt GOD! Freaky huh? Beneath the Clouds (Ghost I Film Festival Entry) This is a modern day take on the story of Adam and Eve. I combined clips from three of my short films to tell a bigger story of the end of innocence and the inevitable destruction of the Garden of Eden. This story is told in a non-linear fashion and the emphasis is not so much on dialogue, but rather, the marriage of my visual ideas to the music of Nine Inch Nails. This is my entry for the Ghost I Film Festival being promoted by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.
