9/11/01 Workers 7th Annual bike Ride The 7th Annual Motorcycle ride for Tuesdays 9/11/01 Children. The ride started from "Ground Zero" and ended upstate. Video taken on Church Street looking towards "Ground Zero". This video is a small file taken with a digital still camera that shoots Quicktime movies. I had to convert the quicktime file into a MP4 file with an editing program. I put the camera on a construction barrier and let it run, while I took photos with another camera. Cunard 3 Queens sail out of NY Harbor For the first and only time the Qm2 and the Qe2 and the new Queen Victoria sailed out of NY on 1/13/08 to a fireworks goodbye. Video was taken from a water Taxi. I took my daughter with me to witness this one time event. It started to pour as the fireworks began. Its not easy taking photos & video while the boat is rocking. For photos and video the best spot was from Battery Park, but we enjoyed the boat ride. I highly recommend the boat tours taken during the daylight hours. WTC AS SEEN FROM THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE In June of 1999, while leaving Manhattan and traveling over the Brooklyn Bridge, I noticed that the North Tower of the bridge was lit up. I drove back into Manhattan and parked my car. I then walked onto the Bridge. A scene from the movie Stuart Little was being filmed. The scene where Stuart Little drives his little car over the Bridge. It was unique to have the bridge lit up. I watched the sun go down and took photos & video from the bridge looking at the Manhattan skyline.
