Suzuka GT5:Prologue vs Real Life Side by side videos of (almost) one lap at Suzuka in GT5:Prologue and real life, driven by Schumacher. The Prologue car is the Ferrari F1 2007, while Schumacher is driving (presumably) the 2006 F248. Source videos from YT, original GT5 driver unknown. Schumacher is actually the faster driver so I had to speed up/slow down the GT5:P video in order for it to keep up with the real life video while making sure every part of the track is reached at the same time. The time modifications on the video are almost undetectable as they were never beyond +-10%. Dan Dare (ZX Spectrum) Speedrun: 11min24sec After doing the walkthrough I decided to do a speedrun with the goal of doing it under 10 minutes. (the normal walkthrough timed at over 18 minutes). Again, I used the EmuZWin 2.7 emulator's "Time Back" function which lets me undo back in time in 2 seconds intervals. A bit like "Prince of Persia Sands of Time". This time I was more familiar with the game and used the undo function 15 times. The 10 minutes goal was a bit too hard (I think 10:30-11:00 is technically possible without editing the game code) so the speedrun ended at 11:24, with certain backtracking parts sped up during editing. The video was spliced together/sped up using After Effects and VirtualDub was used to compress it/mix in the final audio. Enjoy! Tags: dan dare zx spectrum video game retro speedrun speed run |

Dan Dare Walkthrough 2/2 A walkthrough of my favourite ZX Spectrum game, "Dan Dare", a game I've completed many times in the late 80s. I've cheated by undoing misstakes using the emulator software, then cutting these away from the final movie. The emulator used was EmuZWin 2.7. The music used is not as old as the game: Amiga game music (Flashback and Alien Breed) and demo music (StarStruck). For more info see the credits at the end. Enjoy this walkthrough!
