Homebuilt Paraglider It was year 1988, when I design and build my first real paraglider. This was my own design (second in row). I use an P-III airfoil. I use AirfoilI program to find the best air intake location. I try to minimize tip stabilizers. At those times, tip stabilizaers were of large area, and I reduce it by 60% on my design. I made outer 3 cells closed and all others were covered by a net, to prevent dirt to enter the wing, and to hold more acurate nose airfoil part shape. Pa-18 landings 4 fun Playing with Thunder Tiger Piper Cub EP. I did not use stock powerplant (geared speed 370), but I install ~180W brushless outruner and 3 cell Li-po 800 mAh. Model can take a lot of abuse, since it is made from styrofoam and EP foam. If broken, it can be easily repaired using foam safe glue, and clear adhesive tape.
